The College of Idaho campus is located in southwestern Idaho in the town of Caldwell. Originally established in 1891, its campus still employs some of the original buildings. Fifteen major structures are located on the campus with a total of approximately 350,000 square feet of area. Primary energy is supplied in the form of natural gas to individual building boilers. Because of the diverse nature of the buildings, mechanical systems vary from one pipe cast iron steam radiators to high velocity double duct systems.
