Geologic Map of Idaho 1:750,000-scale

Geologic map of Idaho includes geologic age and lithology for map unit polygons. The geology was compiled from more than 90 sources: Basement geology in central and north Idaho, compiled on Lambert conformal conic 1:750,000 base from 1976; and Surficial geology for the entire state and bedrock and basement geology south of the Snake River and in southeast Idaho, compiled on shaded relief base derived from 10 m NED data. The data are available in the following formats: web feature service, web map service, Personal Geodatabase (.mdb), and ESRI service endpoint. This resource was prepared by the Idaho Geological Survey and made available for distribution through the National Geothermal Data System.
